Born and raised in Sonoma, Jon entered the family wine business, eventually becoming President of Viansa Winery and later managing Director of wine.com. Jon’s next venture was the creation of Krave Jerky, which was acquired by the Hershey Company.
Still passionate about the food and beverage industry, Jon now oversees the healthful snack products venture, Sonoma Brands. An avid marathon runner, and graduate of Columbia Business School, Jon lives with his wife, Carol and their daughter Alexandra.
Born and raised in Montana, B.A. in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Montana in hand, Therese moved to San Francisco for a career in political campaign consulting where she developed a knack for fundraising. A professional fund developer for over twenty-five years, Therese has helped raise funds for numerous non-profit organizations including education, healthcare, and the arts.
In addition to non-profit fund development, Therese holds advanced certifications in fitness and nutrition, and is a certified culinary professional. A fitness consultant, cooking instructor, and trainer for over twenty years, Therese is a featured food writer, published author and contributor to area publications.
Therese has devoted many volunteer hours serving on numerous non-profit boards throughout the North Bay. At The Presentation School, she has fulfilled a variety of roles including serving as a Trustee for six years, Capital Campaign committee member to build the campus, chair of numerous fundraisers, and instrumental in implementing the Annual Fund.
Married to Mike, their son Jack and two daughters, Maggie and Madigan, all graduated The Presentation School.
Brett Pinkin was born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey. Brett received his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Pomona College in California and Masters in Professional Accounting from University of Texas at Austin. Immediately thereafter,
his passion for wine and financial accounting converged in the San Francisco area as a Certified Public Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Moss Adams LLP, focusing on providing assurance and business advisory services to wine industry clients.
Brett Pinkin and his wife Sarah have been residents of Sonoma since early 2008. Their daughter Olivia and son Sawyer attend Presentation School. Brett is a Senior Finance Manager at Treasury Wine Estates in Napa. In addition to wine, Brett has been a life-long musician and enjoys long-distance running, snowboarding, and family time.
Teri Hansen is a native Californian. She was born in Santa Monica and lived in Southern California until a job transfer took her family to the NW suburbs of Chicago. After the family relocated back to California, she stayed to attend the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana.
After returning to California she began her career in financial services with a regional savings & loan in Long Beach in 1987. She moved to San Francisco in 1991 for a job with a boutique investment banking firm, and has spent the last eighteen years with a large wealth management firm where she is an Executive Director in Institutional Fixed Income.
She is a past president and current member of the San Francisco Municipal Bond Club. After getting married in 2003, she relocated to Sonoma to join her husband Bart, who had long worked in the Sonoma Valley wine industry. Together they have a small wine label named after their son Dane who is currently a Presentation School student.
When she is not making her long daily commute to San Francisco, Teri can be found racing to a Pure Barre class or at the pool cheering on the Sonoma Sea Dragons.
Andre was born in Canada, grew up in California, Colorado and Australia, and as a young adult, lived overseas in Switzerland, France and the Philippines. He received his Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
Early in his career, he worked in business valuations, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions of privately held companies. He then moved onto a more entrepreneurial path in sports e-commerce. He created and operated the first online store for FIFA (World Cup Soccer), followed by numerous e-commerce properties for the soccer market (partnerships with Univision and Yahoo), as well as NBA teams (Lakers, Warriors, others), and the collegiate market (Cal, Oregon State, Rose Bowl). He recently sold the majority of the business and is looking forward to a break, as well as his next entrepreneurial venture.
Andre met his wife Heather in San Francisco and they moved to Sonoma in October 2008 with their son Oliver attends Presentation. Andre enjoys road-riding, backcountry camping, skiing and is still trying to decide if he’s officially retired from his passion, Ultimate Frisbee.
Ricardo was born and raised in the Bay Area, living in San Mateo while attending St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco. After graduating in 1989, he enrolled at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., spending the next 12 years studying and working in the nation’s capital. Ricardo met his wife Jenny in 2001, and promptly convinced her to give California a try! After starting their family on the Peninsula, Ricardo and Jenny moved to Sonoma in 2016 with their children Giselle and Marco, and quickly fell in love with The Presentation School.
Ricardo holds a B.A. in American Government from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco. Professionally, Ricardo has held various sales, marketing, and business development positions at Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and Internet startups spanning such industries as technology, media and publishing, real estate, asset valuation and liquidation, printing, mailing, and direct response marketing. He founded OneRhythm LLC in 2012, leveraging his business and technology experience to bring data-driven, closed loop marketing consulting and campaign services to large Nonprofit organizations.
When not working, it’s all about family and friends, great food and wine, playing guitar and drums, coaching soccer, reading extensively, traveling, and never missing Opening Day (Go Giants!).
Heidi (Rogers) Williams has spent her career in the marketing and branding arena, on both client- and agency-sides, in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In that time she has worked across industries ranging from education, with The College Board and McGraw-Hill Companies, to entertainment, with Disney and HBO, to emerging software companies.
Over her last 20 years at Sterling Brands, an Omnicom Company, Heidi founded the firm's San Francisco office during the first dot.com boom, oversaw sales and operations for the growing New York headquarters, and has been engaged in consumer insight, brand positioning and design projects nationwide. Earlier she led corporate brand strategy assignments in healthcare, insurance and publishing, and earned an MBA at Columbia Business School.
Having grown up in the East Bay, Heidi and her husband, Simon, moved from NYC to Sonoma in 2013 looking for a small, close-knit community in which to raise their daughter, Gemma. They found it, centered in The Presentation School which Gemma has attended since kindergarten and where Heidi is active in fundraising.
Lora Eichner Blanusa grew up in Louisiana and Oklahoma. She arrived in California for the first time as a freshman at Stanford University where she studied developmental psychology. After working for a year in the department of psychology at Stanford, Lora attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a pediatric resident at UC San Francisco before working as a pediatrician at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation and teaching on the faculty at Stanford Children’s Hospital. After taking some time off to enjoy her young children and then relocating to Sonoma 10 years ago, Lora now works part-time as a pediatrician at Harvest Pediatrics in Napa and St. Helena. She lives in Sonoma with her husband, Robert, and their blended family. Lora’s youngest, Lily Dominguez, is a student at Presentation. Lora enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family, skiing and hiking, as well as participating in 2 book groups. Her days of marathon running are over, but she still enjoys running local 5Ks with her mother, Donna, and her children.
Bahaneh Hobel is a partner at Dickenson Peatman & Fogarty in Napa where she heads the firm's Alcohol Beverage Law practice. Bahaneh’s practice focuses exclusively on all aspects of alcohol beverage law and regulation for wineries, breweries, distilled spirits plants, importers, wholesalers, and retailers. Bahaneh and her husband Cameron also own and operate Hobel, their small family winery producing high-end Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons.
Bahaneh grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from the Harvard-Westlake School. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Emory University with a degree in Political Science. Bahaneh worked for the United States Solicitor General in Washington D.C. before attending Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. After receiving her law degree in 2001 from Boalt, Bahaneh served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard C. Tallman on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and then practiced at several established law firms in Los Angeles before relocating to Napa with Cameron, a wine importer, and retailer.
Bahaneh and Cameron live in Napa with their daughter Coco and their son Indigo. Coco is a Presentation School student and Indy is ready to follow in his big sister's footsteps when he is older.
One of the most cherished core values that are near to Cherise’s heart is her love and compassion for her family, friends, and community.
Moving to Sonoma as a one-month-old, this wonderful small town and community is what brought her back to raise her own family which includes husband Sean, daughter Trista and their two sons Carson and Myles. Carson is a Presentation School student and Myles will start Kindergarten in the Fall.
Cherise attended Pacific Union College, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. Soon after graduating, she joined her father’s dental practice in 2003. A few years later she and her brother Aaron started an additional practice in Sonoma.
Cherise enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She often can be found taking impromptu trips to special places spreading her contagious appetite for adventure and fun to all that she encounters.
Vanessa Glamore Rognlien grew up in Long Island, New York and attended Boston College where she earned a BA in Political Science and Communication. Soon after graduation, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a stylist and production manager for corporate clients, such as Apple, Toyota and Levi’s.
Vanessa, made a career change and began her work in development with Los Angeles nonprofit organizations and schools to maximize their fundraising and marketing capabilities. Over the past 20 years, she has raised funds for numerous arts, education, and youth advocacy groups.
In 2009, Vanessa and her husband, Rand, along with their children, relocated to Sonoma. Since moving, Vanessa has devoted her time to raising funds and support for schools and youth in Sonoma, and to building Music Nomad, a music equipment care company, founded by her husband.
She has served on various boards and committees, including Chair of the Presentation Parent Association, Sonoma Valley Education Foundation Board, and the SVUSD Local Control and Accountability Committee. Vanessa has 3 children, 2 of whom are Presentation School alum and 1 current student.
JJ was born and raised in Washington state where he developed a love for the mountains and outdoor recreation. He went east to Colby College in Maine where he found the mountains to be less impressive but managed to escape with a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Finance as well as his future wife, Piper. Together they returned to Seattle for a decade where they established careers in Finance and Executive Coaching, respectively, and a family.
Residing in Sonoma since the year prior to their oldest son, Porter, entered Kindergarten at TPS, they now enjoy watching him and their daughters, Keaton and Margo, benefit from Presentation’s small but world-class educational environment. As a Chartered Financial Analyst, JJ has served on TPS’s Finance Committee for over 5 years. JJ is active as a community volunteer, coach, entrepreneur and investor.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Dana knew early on that she wanted to live in a small town and provide a close community for her family. After Walla Walla (where she earned an undergraduate degree at Whitman College) proved a bit too small, business school at UC Davis led her to right-sized Sonoma where she and her husband, Stephane, have happily resided since 2006. They are proud parents of two children, Lucile and Armand, both Presentation School students.
Dana has been in the wine business for nearly 20 years, mostly in an investment management capacity. She is currently CFO at Far Niente Wine Estates in Oakville, a private equity-owned luxury wine business comprised of six world-class brands, two beautiful wine estates and hundreds of top-quality vineyard acres in Napa and Sonoma.
In addition to TPS, Dana spends her free time supporting her husband’s boutique wine business, serving on various industry committees, visiting her inlaws in Burgundy, and convincing her kids to teach her their ukelele songs.
Sonya DeLuca was raised in the Central Valley of California in a small town deeply rooted in agriculture and farming. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, she moved to San Francisco and began her career in medical sales. In 1998, she followed her passion for the outdoors and the mountains to Lake Tahoe where she taught ski lessons at Alpine Meadows and began working for the PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn. It is here where she developed a love of food and wine.
A veteran in the hospitality industry, Sonya has led the catering and events departments for luxury properties such as PlumpJack, W Hotels, Bon Appetit and The Getty Center. In 2007, she relocated from Los Angeles to Napa with her husband James, where they quickly fell in love with wine country and its small-town community centered in agriculture. For over 14 years, she has served as the Associate Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Napa Valley Grapegrowers and the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, overseeing the two organizations’ educational programs, events and fundraising.
James and Sonya live in Napa with their son Max and daughter Dylan, both students at The Presentation School, and their 14-year-old Bassett Hound Lucy.
