Lauren Papadin has been working with Presentation School students for more than six years, some of whom will graduate from High School this year. This is her second year working part time as the school's Learning Specialist.
Lauren received a BA from Santa Clara University and also studied at the University of the Basque Country. She has over ten years of working with children in a behavioral and/or academic realm. Her varied professional background includes teaching English in Spain and Chile, counseling in a residential treatment center for troubled youth outside of Denver, CO, leading a children’s program at a homeless family shelter in San Francisco, serving as a behavior and transitions specialist in a K-8 school in Marin, and working 1:1 as for students in Marin, SF, and Sonoma, providing individualized tutorials for grades K - 12 to students with Dyslexia, ADHD, and other interferences affecting their learning. She has developed student learning profiles identifying specific learning differences, goals, and accommodations individually catered to each student.
Lauren lives in Sonoma with her husband and their two children.
